Miso Brown Sugar Syrup

ingredients

  • 4 parts brown sugar

  • 2 parts water

  • 1 part red or white miso

process

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat and whisk until sugar is dissolved

  2. Reserve in refrigerator for up to 3 months

note:

For a lighter flavor, use white miso. For a stronger flavor, use red miso
